Samana Vayu is situated in the abdomen region and translates into "balancing air" and flows from the center outwards. Twisting postures along with specific pranayama can stimulate this region and create a feeling of deep transformation. We will continue to access our roots as we explore postures that work the principle of rooting and rebounding like twisting arm balances. These postures help us to access our deep core muscles that stabilize our trunk. We will end with a balancing pranayama and a long cooling Sarvangasana to bring prana upwards and settle our system into a deep relaxation.
