Prana Vayu is situated in the heart and chest region and brings energy in and up. We will access this energy center with backbends that open the top chest and throat region like Vrischikasana, Lagavradrasana, and Ustrasana. We will explore staying connected to our roots as we explore drop backs, which also open our Udana Vayu. This is the energy center where energy goes up and out, helping us to feel connected to the way we express ourselves. We will end with pranayama to stimulate the heart chakra before winding down with restoratives to center from an uplifting practice.
